@chipfun Backyard... don't use bird id apps, sucks all the fun out. If you're even interested in logging. Put out some feeders (with capsaicin to deter squirrels if you're anti-squirrel), within even just a few days you'll be familiar with a couple species that frequent your place. :) If you happen to be on vacation, watch out for cool birds in trees & stuff... eventually you'll be in the Everglades hunting for some niche ass obscure little brown bird...
