ピキ日記 (PikiDiary) Terms of Service [English]

Preamble

Read the whole document, but make sure to read through Section 4.2 and Section 4.4. If your account was deleted, lack of adherence to those sections specifically is likely the reason why.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ピキ日記 ("PikiDiary," "we," "us," or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PikiDiary.

Accounts belonging to individuals under 13 will be terminated. If you are under 13, your agreement to these Terms is void, and you must stop using the Service immediately.

3. Account Security & Verification

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Account recovery requests may be sent to farts@graybox.lol, but we are under no obligation to fulfill them.

We may periodically require verification (such as CAPTCHA) to prevent abuse. We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account we suspect of suspicious or automated activity.

4. Prohibited Conduct

4.1 Illegal or Malicious Activity

Do not post, link to, or promote illegal content, malware, phishing schemes, or other harmful material.

Do not use the Service to organize or facilitate illegal or harmful behavior.

4.2 Harassment, Hate, and Discrimination

Users may not engage in targeted harassment or promote hate against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.

The use of slurs is permitted only in clearly non-hateful contexts such as cultural discussion, satire, or self-referential use. However, slurs that are historically or commonly used to incite hatred or dehumanize others are strictly prohibited, regardless of intent or context.

All content is subject to moderator review, and context will be considered when determining whether a violation has occurred.

4.3 Exploitation, Minors, and Sexual Content

Absolutely no sexualized content involving minors. Any such violation will result in a permanent ban and may be reported to authorities.

Any behavior suggestive of grooming, exploitation, or harassment will result in immediate account termination and potential legal reporting.

Pornographic or overtly sexual content is not allowed on PikiDiary, regardless of context. Gore or shock content is also prohibited. Exceptions may only be made for educational or artistic purposes with clear disclaimers and/or moderator approval.

4.4 Disruptive Theming and Atmosphere Breaking

PikiDiary operates as an isolated ecosystem. We strictly prohibit the importation of external "platform-rot," specifically the migration of discourse, manufactured grievances, or tribalistic signaling. Your presence here must be secondary to the site's established atmosphere, not an attempt to colonize it with outside internet subcultures.

Users who utilize the platform to engage in proformative identities, engage in cultural saturation, or initiate performative social friction will be viewed as hostile to the site's mission. We do not host staging grounds for group-based dramas or the propagation of niche social agendas. Any attempt to redirect the community's focus toward external "culture wars" or obsessive parasocial fixations will result in immediate administrative intervention.

4.5 Spam, Scraping, and Automated Abuse

Do not spam, flood, or abuse the site's content creation systems.

Automated account creation, bot usage, or the use of web crawlers to scrape site content or assets for external databases is strictly prohibited. Operating multiple accounts to circumvent limits will result in a permanent ban.

4.6 Respect and Community Spirit

PikiDiary is a space for creativity, personal expression, and kindness. Treat others with respect.

Our motto is: "オマエモナー" (Omae Mona), meaning "You are too." It expresses that you are human, I am human, and we should treat one another with empathy and care.

4.7 Promotion

Promoting your own content is allowed, including things like your artwork, personal website, social media profiles, or other creative projects. However, certain types of promotion are restricted. You may not directly link to donation pages (such as Ko-fi, Patreon, etc.), paid services, or external platforms in which you are personally invested in.

Please be respectful and avoid spammy behavior. Excessive self-promotion, low-effort posts, repeatedly sharing the same link, or creating an account solely to promote content can negatively impact the experience of others and may result in moderation actions. Users who actively contribute to the platform will naturally have more freedom when sharing their work.

4.8 Exit Posts

If you decide to leave PikiDiary, simply log out and go. Publicly announcing your departure to provoke reactions or seek attention is discouraged and may be removed. The community thrives when participation is genuine, not performative.

5. Content Ownership & Archiving

5.1 Ownership and License

You retain ownership of any content you post on PikiDiary. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, modify, adapt, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and promoting the Service. This license includes use in showcases, community highlights, and site assets.

5.2 Prohibition of Third-Party Archival

PikiDiary is intended to be an isolated ecosystem with the safety of its community in mind. Users and automated services are strictly prohibited from archiving, mirroring, or indexing the Service, its pages, or its hosted assets (including images and media) on third-party platforms such as the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine), Archive.today, or similar archival tools without express written permission.

5.3 Site Assets

All media assets hosted directly on PikiDiary infrastructure are the property of their respective uploaders but are protected under the site's anti-scraping and anti-archival policies. Unauthorized hotlinking or bulk-scraping of site assets is prohibited.

6. Moderation & Enforcement

Moderators may remove content or suspend accounts at their sole discretion, with or without prior warning.

Appeals or moderation inquiries may be sent to farts@graybox.lol. We may respond at our discretion.

7. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either you or PikiDiary.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may retain or delete your content at our discretion.

8. Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting farts@graybox.lol. Requests will be honored in accordance with data retention practices.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and we will notify users of material changes when appropriate.
