@shotoku@sakuramoritani yea they can go have fun on their on spaces i.e. tiktok, instagram, fecalcord, wherever else, just don't be like @hypermug1 and enter spaces oriented to old internet culture while spewing nonsense trite about being a le femboy furry and so on because simply put 1) that did not exist back then, you stick out like a sore thumb! and 2) you are annoying and diluting the culture/spirit of what you are infatuated with. worst of both worlds tbh
if you're under 16 and obsessively adopt Da Olde Intarnetz!! "culture" (xerox of a xerox of a xerox), join Da Olde Intarnetz!! discords and so on, you have no idea what it meant to be online before 2010, much less 2015. it probably sounds gay but i deeply resent when children latch onto the past in such a way where it feels more like fetishization of an "aesthetic" or "core" than any real understanding of what it was and why it felt the way it did. you aren't old internet, you're a zoomer just like the rest
