@potd99 luckily for christmas my step-sister made a crochet plushie of Mercury. tomorro, i'm gonna take the plushie to my dad's house and put it somewhere safe. i've been crying for a while now because we've had this cat since it was a kitten. i have a deep emotional connection to this cat as well. my dad made up a retarded ass excuse for us to cope with. he said "he was never much of a loving cat" even though he would sit in my lap and purr when i pet him. anyway. i'm gonna take a break from piki for a bit

update:: my dad is getting rid of my cat because he broke a plate (on accident ofc, he's a fucking cat)

his name is Mercury and he will be taken to the humane society to go to another family (keep in mind this is the same "humane" society that euthanises cats who never end up going anywhere).

sometimes my dad will go to the store and leave me home alone to "hold down the fort". i don't usually take being home alone well but the cat has made me feel safe while i'm alone. (thread)
