@david By not only showing that forms and shapes alike share the same headache of imagining a higher dimension but sharing a multitude of different things like war, social hierarchies, and justice systems presents every dimension as having some kind of universal experience when it comes to living in some kind of society. @david I really have no say in if it's accurate to the book as I have not read it but showing that spaceland works in a similar way to flatland by having some kind of society that parallels flatland in a number of ways was something I thought was pretty cool. (Spoilers ahead) When A Square attempts to convince forms of the existence of a fourth dimension, The forms couldn't comprehend such a thing existing in the same way A Sphere couldn't make A Square comprehend the third dimension...
